Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how Sullix collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Information We Collect

Personal Information

  • Name and contact information (email, phone)
  • Business information for contractors (license, insurance)
  • Payment information for transactions
  • Location data for service matching

Usage Information

  • Pages visited and features used
  • Search queries and preferences
  • Device and browser information
  • IP address and location data

2. Mobile App Permissions

Our mobile application may request access to the following device features. Each permission is optional and only used for the stated purpose:

  • Camera: Take photos of project sites, progress updates, and documentation for your construction projects.
  • Photo Library: Select existing photos from your device to attach to projects, portfolios, and messages.
  • Microphone: Record voice messages in conversations with contractors or clients.
  • Location: Find contractors and job opportunities near you, and provide location-based service matching.
  • Push Notifications: Receive alerts about bids, messages, project updates, and important account activity.
  • Biometrics (Face ID / Fingerprint): Optional secure authentication for quick login.

You can revoke any permission at any time through your device settings. Revoking a permission may limit certain app features but will not affect your account.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve our services
  • To match clients with contractors
  • To process payments and transactions
  • To communicate about your account and projects
  • To verify contractor credentials
  • To prevent fraud and ensure security

4. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • With contractors/clients: Project-related communication
  • Service providers: Payment processing, verification services, cloud hosting, error monitoring, and product analytics
  • AI service provider (Faro): When you use Faro, the messages, photos, voice recordings, and project details you choose to send are processed by Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini models) to generate Faro's responses. The Sullix mobile app asks for your permission before sending anything to Faro, and you can withdraw that permission in Settings.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law
  • Business transfers: In case of merger or acquisition

Optional Gmail connection

When you choose to connect Gmail, Sullix reads the mailbox threads you open or search and sends only email you review and approve. Your mailbox and private project associations are visible to you; linking a thread does not share its contents with your project team. Opening mail in Sullix does not change its Gmail unread state, archive it, or delete it.

Faro processes selected thread text and authorized project context through Google Cloud Vertex AI only after you opt in to Gmail assistance and approve the individual summary or drafting task. We do not use connected Gmail data to train general models, target advertising, or populate shared knowledge or conversation memory. Gmail content is excluded from product session recordings and error telemetry. A suggested reply still requires separate review and sending approval.

Access tokens and temporary reviewed drafts are encrypted. We fetch mailbox content on demand instead of keeping a permanent mailbox mirror. Disconnecting in Settings stops local access and pending sends; Google revocation can take longer during a provider outage. Minimal connection and send receipts may remain for security and duplicate-send prevention. You can also revoke access in your Google Account settings.

Our use and transfer of data received from Google APIs follow the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy and its Limited Use requirements. Gmail public availability depends on completing Google's verification and required security assessment.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission
  • Secure data storage with access controls
  • Regular security audits and monitoring
  • Employee training on data protection
